Alandale Farm

Alandale farm, near Middelburg in the Eastern Cape, is a family run sheep and cattle farm in the Eastern Karoo. As proud wool and meat producers we invite guests of Alandale Farm Cottage to experience everyday farm activities during their stay.

Watch our border collies collect and draft sheep, see how wool sheep are shorn or observe cattle vaccination. Alternatively, enjoy self guided walking/running and mountain bike trails on the farm or sit back, relax and enjoy beautiful Karoo views from one of the cottage stoeps.

Doringvygie is a farm cottage that offers a charming and comfortable retreat in the heart of the Karoo, ideal for families or groups of up to five guests.

This well-equipped self-catering cottage features three inviting bedrooms and a cozy lounge area where you can unwind after a day of exploring.

Enjoy the serene surroundings from one of the cottage's lovely stoep areas or gather around the braai, with firewood provided and braai packs available for order.

Seasonal farm produce can also be purchased during your stay, adding a touch of local flavor to your experience.
